pam, what is the meaning of life?
--Dying to know

Dear Dying,

Assuming that your question was serious (somewhat), first I will say what LIFE is not. It is not about collecting the most marbles. It is not about winning or losing. It is not a game. It is not a cereal. It is not a race or a test. It is not defining social problems and then finding ways to make money off of them.

Life is a place to laugh, cry, love, learn, eat, drink and be merry. Our spirits don't always have bodies attached to them -- in this Life they do. Many people think that the purpose for this is so that we can resist the temptation to enjoy those bodies. I disagree -- I think this Life is about enjoying having a body while still keeping our heart and soul alive. Part of this is enjoying bodies respectfully -- Hedonism with Heart! Enjoy Life and the Body that comes with it, regardless of the conditions of that body, and spread that energy into the Universe! [NOTE: For disabled bodies, here is a website with an excellent list of sexuality resources: http://www.comeasyouare.com/index.cfm?&FA=Info.Disability_Resources ]

Remeber two things:
(1) Erotic energy is healing energy and helps us to move along life with zest.
(2) Playing strip Tarot is tempting the gods to play a practical joke.

I hope this has shed some light on this very complex question,
Pamela

Dear Pam,
Do you believe in reincarnation? If so, how long have our "souls" been bouncing from here to there? Millions of years? If so, was I once (or many times) a large, plant-eating dinosaur?
Mr. Hindubotz

Dear Mr. Hindubotz,
Yes, I believe in reincarnation. However, I must clarify that reincarnation (recycling as the same species) and transmigration (recycling as various species) are two separate things. The reincarnation process has existed for two thousand mega-ryclons. As far as your personal history, no, you were never a large, plant-eating dinosaur. However, your favorite lifetime so far was as a giant sea turtle by the Galapogas Islands, where you lived happily for 76 years, doing the things that giant sea turtles love to do.
Sea you around the cosmos,
Pamela
