I love my body.

It does not look like most bodies look,
but I love my body.

It has bulges
where most bodies are flat
and vacancies
where most bodies have muscles,
but I love my body...

My melted candle,
with waves and curves
that have traveled through fire
to get to where they are.

I love this body that tells a story…
not a prefab body
poured from a mold,
but one that has molded itself.

I love my body.

This is not an apology or a disclaimer…
only a statement of fact
before I expose myself to you.

I love my body.
